Erik Reuterswärd's photograph, 9 July 1946
The only photograph from the 1946 wave: a streak over Sweden taken by Erik Reuterswärd on 9 July 1946, printed in the press as a 'ghost rocket'. Most researchers read it as a daylight meteor. Small original; shown at its own size.

The Swedish military dragged several lakes and found no debris. Corpus guests recall the episode as a reason US commanders took post-war reports seriously and describe the objects as modified V-2s.
