From late 1944, aircrews of the 415th Night Fighter Squadron over the Rhine valley and crews in the Pacific reported balls of light that paced their aircraft. In the corpus, Luis Elizondo says Senator Ted Stevens, a World War II pilot who later backed his program, admitted his own encounters; the host marks the eightieth anniversary of the first reports.
