Former Air Force security personnel and contractors say that on 14 October 2003 a glowing red square about a hundred yards on a side approached Vandenberg AFB from the sea and hovered silently over a missile-defense launch facility for under a minute. A corpus witness says Rep. Luna cited the case and AARO holds the records.
