In 2015 a grave robber known as Leandro is said to have found small desiccated three-fingered bodies in a cave near Nazca, Peru; promoters presented them from 2017 as non-human and they were shown to the Mexican Congress in 2023. Peru's culture ministry calls them manipulated pre-Columbian remains. A corpus episode examines the bodies and their carbon dates.
