On 9 December 1965 a fireball crossed several states and residents of Kecksburg, Pennsylvania reported an acorn-shaped object in the woods, which they said the Army removed on a flatbed truck. The Air Force said nothing was found. A NASA archivist later said records were lost. A corpus guest recalls a relative connected to the case.
