Wright-Patterson is publicly documented as the home of the Air Force's Foreign Technology Division and of Project Blue Book, the UFO study that ran until 1969. "Hangar 18" is folklore; the phrase does not occur in any of the interviews.
In the interviews the base appears as the destination of material. Jesse Michels relays a witness account that debris went to Wright-Patterson to be reverse engineered, plays Barry Goldwater's 1994 remark that he was turned away when he asked to see what was kept there, and narrates a claim that Paperclip scientists worked there on the 1933 Magenta craft. UAPGerb and Greg Bishop both cite researcher William Steinman on Eric Henry Wang, who ran special projects at Wright Field.
These are chains of testimony and archive reading, not documents about recovered craft. The base is verified; the storage claim is not.
