Lazar’s description is the most specific saucer account in the corpus. Jesse Michels summarises it as “a flying saucer 53 ft in diameter” with no “wiring, or controls”; Lazar himself says of the seats “There were three of those” and that they were child-sized, that during a test “the craft began to lift off the ground silently”, and that in flight “The craft sort of wobbles.” He says “there were nine hangars” at the site and, asked who holds the craft now, that “the Navy” has “the sport model”.
The account changed public expectation. Jeremy Corbell says “Wednesday was the famous night nights that they would fly the sport model”, referring to the Groom Lake watch parties Lazar organised in 1989; Matthew Pines notes that Lazar “would describe the sports model” with a consistent “level of detail and lucidity”; an abduction witness in another episode says a craft he saw “was about 50 ft in diameter” and compares it to the “Lazar Sport model”, showing the description feeding back into later reports.
Explanations offered: that Lazar saw a recovered craft (his claim); that he was shown a classified human vehicle and misread its origin; that the account is invented or embellished (critics cite his disputed education records). The corpus carries corroboration only for peripheral details — the Element 115 discussion, the existence of S-4 as a place name — so the record is banded contested.
