Garry Nolan

Garry Nolan is a professor of pathology at Stanford University School of Medicine, known for work in immunology and single-cell analysis. From around 2012 he began analysing materials brought to him by researchers and, at the request of the CIA and later others, examined brain scans of people who reported effects after encounters. He co-authored a 2022 paper with Jacques Vallée on multi-element analysis of alleged UAP materials and co-founded the Sol Foundation in 2023 to bring academic study to the subject.

Nolan's laboratory findings are published and his position at Stanford is documented. What the findings mean is open: the isotope ratios he reports are unusual for manufactured metals but the samples' origins are unverified, and the brain-scan observations concern a small self-selected group. He has said in interviews that he is confident non-human intelligence has visited Earth; he presents this as his opinion, not a laboratory result.
