The egg has a small but persistent set of reports. Charles Hall, describing objects over the Nellis ranges in the 1960s, says “everything rounded like an egg … It was ellipsoidal”, with no sharp edges. Jake Barber, a former helicopter pilot, says the object he lifted “looked like a 20 feet longitudinally” egg with a “rounding shape to it”; Jesse Michels opens an episode on “an enormous egg-shaped, teardrop-shaped craft”, and UAPGerb notes Barber “retrieved an eggshaped craft”. James Fox relays a Peruvian account of an egg buried at a 45-degree angle in a cliff, and an anonymous guest lists “an eightgone shaped” craft and “an eggshaped craft” among objects described to him.
The shape is elastic. Greg Rogers compares his hangar saucer to “an egg” with the offset removed; the Allagash witnesses’ sphere became “more like an oval”; Mick West, analysing the Barber footage, sees “an egg-shaped object on the end of a rope” and concludes “it’s not like a tic tac … It’s it’s an egg” — while warning that a defocused light on camera also reads as an egg. The 1964 Socorro object, an egg on legs in the case file, is cited here as an external event.
Explanations offered: camera blur turning a point light into an ovoid, a landed experimental vehicle or balloon, a staged or embellished recovery story, and a genuinely unknown craft. The Barber claim rests on one first-person account and a short video, so the modern pattern is banded contested.
